• The Essential has a built in non-removable battery. It is rechargeable and cones with charging cable.

• There is no battery you can access. These cameras will last for several months with one charge depending on how yoir setting are. Mine are set up to notify me if a leaf drops and they have been up over one month with a single change and still at 40%. If you srt them to notify you less they will least several months with one charge.
