• No sound in shutter. Took a still shot manually, no sound actually. My dad says light comes on but I told him it’s for his safety to see!

• No, the Arlo Pro 4 does not shutter loud when recording and it does not have any down time between motion monitoring. In regards to adjustments, will need additional details in order to better assist.
