If you'd don't have REALLY good (as in amazing) WiFi and internet, you'll be sadly disappointed with the performance of this system at any distance. Also, you'll be recharging batteries every 3 days like we had to do, which renders the security system useless. Arlo says you only have to charge the cameras every 3 months or so and that's a flat lie. Don't buy 1. Don't buy 2. Don't buy 3. Look for a different system; you'll be much happier. We switched to Reolink. However, regarding the Arlo system, we are now stuck trying to work out our issues with their warranty support. One of our cameras, well all of them actually, suffered from signal dropping for no real reason. When they drop signal, you have no security system. Keep that in mind. Even the ones mounted TO THE HOUSE dropped signal and the batteries were useless what with their incessant need to be charged, which meant they had to be taken down.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can place your Arlo camera a maximum of 300 feet (90 meters) from the SmartHub or from your network. The maximum line-of-sight range of 300 feet is reduced by each wall, ceiling, or other major obstruction between the camera and base station. Also, at this time, Arlo Pro 4 camera is sold in 1 or 3-camera bundle only. ^RM
