“Hey people, if I connect these to my Smart Tv via optical, will I be able to hear either Atmos or DD/DD+? or only stereo? thanks in advance”

• Mine (Gen 4) didn’t work with digital optical cable to TV but, updating the firmware allows just the usb to handle all the sound. I suppose your TV would need Dolby Atmos

• Optical cables will send any signal between your head set and device. So what ever your device is set up for you will receive through your headset.

• It’ll act like any other wireless adapter/connector, once you hook up the audio and plug it into the optical… It’ll work great. You may have to fiddle with some settings though. Also, it’s Atmos sound.
