“I have an ASUS AC1200 USB-AC53 Nano WI-Fi Adapter on my laptop but the blue lights on it are no longer working. Will this affect it working? It seems to be working but I'm wondering if I need a new one? Thanks.”

No the lights should have no affect on the product itself. Sometimes the LEDs just go bad.
