You are unable to slide the dust cover. You need to consider the tonearm. With that said, you can remove the hinges, and and rest the dust cover on the base of the turntable. But you will need some clearance to accomplish this.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I too have a mine in place where I can't use the hinged cover but there is enough space to slip the cover on and off. A tip though, make sure you have the tone arm locked so if you accidentally hit it, it won't fly off and damage the stylus.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The dust cover does not have to be held in place by the hinges. It can just sit on the turntable. You will need the ability to lift it high enough to clear the tonearm assembly in order to remove it completely for turntable operation.
