• It has an aluminum platter, which is light, but it does has a well weighted base. The specs should list actual weight, but its solid, not just plastic.

• The housing is all hard plastic but looks and performs great.

• No, the entire unit is not all metal. A good portion appears to be made of high impact plastic.

• No. It is plastic. However the turntable as a whole is quite hefty and solid.
