I bought one and returned it bc the power light wouldn’t stop flashing when it was plugged in but not turned on. Well, the replacement also has the same problem. Is it supposed to be this way? null

Appears to be how it was designed.

Yes. Per the manual, unit should be unplugged when not in use.  When on and programmed, the power light stay#bon.

Yes it is, since it is touchscreen i believe they made it like that so you wont forget/you can easily locate the power button when you want to use it again

I believe so. I noticed it and mentioned it in my review. To address it, I now unplug it from the power outlet after each use
