A:AnswerSince Blink has launched a new camera we can expect that the Blink XT2 system might be purposefully out of stock so that they are not competing with their own product. Given that the new camera has the same chip, same battery system, a few software upgrades, a lighter unit (maybe due to cheaper materials), and a required monthly membership for storage (yay! - sarcasm). Even the dullest blade in the room would recognize that their predecessor the Blink XT2 is obviously a better choice, so to not compete with themselves I expected it to be temporarily unavailable..... Maybe permanently. Buy the XT2 if you still can, they are much better as you have the option to not pay a monthly subscription.
A:AnswerI don't think they really answered the question.
Is the Blink Outdoor camera a NEWER model with better features than the XT2 system?
Is it the same camera in just a newer package?
Is the price difference worth the purchase of the Blink Outdoor Camera vs. the older XT-2 technology., or are the y the same?
A:AnswerFor another user to access your Blink account, they would need to download the Blink App onto their mobile device and log in with the same credentials that you currently use to do so.
A:AnswerNo, they do not record BOTH AREAS. I have 6 of these blink cameras. Driveway cam and livingroom cam.. with motion in both at the same time, only 6 seconds recorded on driveway cam, nothing on livingroom cam... I'm having to use a different system with blink to catch EVERYTHING. Wyze is great and a lot cheaper!
