The 3 prong cord was inside our dishwasher.

Hi Gonzo, thank you for your question and interest in Model:SHE3AR76UC. This Dishwasher does include a 3-prong cord that plugs directly into an outlet. If you wish to to hardwire the dishwasher you will need the Junction Box with Power Cord, #SMZPCJB1UC.
