As far a I can tell all sounds will route through speaker. Even the key pad sound Every sound you phone makes

Please try again later.While connected to the speaker a call will initially come through the speaker but there should be a way to move the call to your phone depending on what phone you have. The music should then begin to play on the speaker. If it doesn't right away you might have to take the phone away from your ear and press play, the music gets paused automatically when a call comes through
