“The print quality is very good but I have not found a way to stop the printed area from running off the bottom of the page. Does anyone have suggestions? Thanks.”

My guess is you've set either the printer, printer driver, or the app you're using to print on A4 size paper and need to change the (or their) default paper type to 8-1/2 x 11 Letter.
