• This particular Dell - 8x External USB DVD±RW/CD-RW Drive has a USB-A / USB connection ; I know of 0 Dell Laptops using USB-C only. But, to answer the question at hand, there is no USB to USB-C convertor included.

• The device comes with a special cable compatible with regular USB ports. I believe the converter is built right into the connection cable.
