If your computer has a USB then this would plug into it and you could copy files to DVD from your computer. This is a DVD/cd drive burner/player.

No one really does this anymore as CDs and DVDs are really inefficient for managing a lot of data. You are better off backing up to an external USB flash drive or the cloud. Amazon has an unlimited cloud storage plan for $60/year. This is what I use for all of our home computers and laptops, for photo storage, etc.
