A:AnswerYeah, it will pick up anything that is not the normal chemical component of air. I use it to take the smell of smoke out of the air and it works great. You can even set the times it comes on and off.
A:AnswerHi Vc,
This is Carissa with Dyson. Today, manufacturing facilities are located in Malaysia and Singapore. But our Research and Development facilities remain in Malmesbury in the UK where we now employ more people than ever before. There are 4,200 people employed in Malmesbury.
A:AnswerHi there, this is Kelly with Dyson. While you can use a humidifier in the same room as a Dyson purifier, any water impurities can affect your air quality readings, which in turn can affect machine performance.
Best wishes,
Kelly

A:AnswerHi Nancy, this is Kelly with Dyson. The TP01 is our Pure Cool tower, and the TP02 is the Pure Cool Link tower. The only difference between the two machines is that the TP02 features WiFi capability, to connect to the Dyson Link app. Performance in terms of air cooling and purification would be the same.
Best wishes,
Kelly

A:AnswerHello Nam, this is Kelly with Dyson. The Dyson TP02 Pure Cool Link tower is a purifying fan. Unlike our purifiers that also offer heat control, and the ability to adjust the machine to heat to a target room temperature, the temperature cannot be changed on our cool units.
Best wishes,
Kelly

A:AnswerHello TI,
This is Miella from Dyson. The Dyson TP02 Pure Cool Link purifier will indeed filter scents in the air so we do not recommend using it at the same time as a diffuser (or scented candle)
Hope this helps!

A:AnswerHello HondaMan,
This is Miella from Dyson. The TP02 Pure Cool Link is indeed a fan only, but the purification aspect will always be on when the machine is on.
Hope this helps!

A:AnswerIt depends on what level you have it at. The levels are 1 to 10. It's really quiet when it's at level 1 and as you turn it up, it gets louder but nothing too crazy.
A:AnswerNo. My pets shed a lot. You'll have to be okay with the app reading 'Poor Air Quality' frequently until it has had good time to clean the air. The filter is large and has lots of surface area, so you'd be hard pressed to clog the filter.
A:AnswerHi there, this is Kelly with Dyson. If you have any product questions about the Pure Cool Link TP02 we can help with, feel free to get in touch with us at askdysonUS@dyson.com.

A:AnswerHi there, this is Kelly with Dyson. TP01 does not have WiFi connectivity, while the TP02 does. Other then that, there is no difference in performance, air flow speeds, or how well the device will purify the air.
