I have a Dyson V6 stick vacuum that I consider to be light weight but powerful and it suffices for most jobs. The one I just received is the V8, also a stick vacuum but I’d consider it medium weight as the head is larger and it has more power. Both are significantly lighter than the floor model and much easier to store as well as use. I’d recommend either one of the stick models. Hope that helps.
