That was my main reason to buy the pro 6. The pro 6 has a tri band Wi-Fi system and if you have smart home devices this one is the choice. The standard eero 6 is dual band only and therefore more devices share the same band thus congested traffic
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hard to know for sure in my opinion. Your DSL is the bottleneck ... and clearly and it still will be. That said, if you have a ton of smart home devices, an old router may be struggling to maintain all those conversations efficiently, so a new Eero might help.
