- Answer Hi Shaggy, thanks for reaching out! The Ember charging coaster is made to use with our Ember Mugs. The charging coasters are actually interchangeable and laterally compatible to all mugs. Our charging coasters use the same charging technology so you can charge the Ceramic Mug (both the 10 oz and 14 oz) on the Travel Mug coaster and vice versa!

QuestionCan I buy a warranty for the charger? These either last a long time or stop within months. Replacing them after 6 weeks gets expensive very quickly.

- Answer The Ember Mug does not come with a wireless charger and cannot be charged with a USB. The mug comes with a charging coaster that is connected by a regular 2 prong wall plug.

- Answer Ember mugs need Ember charging coasters. The home coasters use AC (wall plug) power supply only. [I don't have a travel mug; I've no idea if the travel mug's charging coaster can use car power plug.] Plug itself is a sizable AC to DC converter; fine for direct plug into wall socket, space hog if trying to use a power strip / multi-plug set up.
