Consider this, when you spend little on a printer, Epson makes up for it on ink. You mentioned wells, I am thinking that you are referencing to the Epson Eco Tank System. Granted, the All-In-One's are pricy, however you play less in ink costs. I do believe you get more in the bottles than the cartridge. The WF-3820 is far from being Eco Friendly.
