• Hi D, Thanks for reaching out. You are correct that the Fire 7 Kids 7" Tablet was released in 2022. The 12th Generation is the newest version of the 7" tablet but there are a- few Kids Edition tablets in new colors and special edition themes that were released in 2023. That might be where the confusion lies. The tablet itself is the 12th Generation that was released in 2022. I hope this helps. Have a great day!
