“I am using Dell G15 laptop mouse touchpad for flight simulator. Even though on control options I highlight keyboard the tutorial keeps trying to force me to use mouse left or right click which does not translate nor work on the touchpad.”

I also have a dell Lap Top and I suggest you get a Wireless Mouse and then MSFS2020 will recognize it.
