YouTube changes their policies on a whim . I recently purchased an item that was supposed to come with 3 months of free youtube premium . When I went to redeem the code , it only came back with 1 month . When I called to fix the problem , the call center is in India or something . They basically said , oh well . Sorry . So - false advertising on Best Buy’s behalf . Buyer beware .

Please try again later.its 2025 and if best buy is still doing this "gift" scam then i will just have to do my tech shopping elsewhere. i just got merchandise 2 freaking days ago. i wish i would have known about this bait and switch scam (which is btw illegal) and the whole ""too bad so sad" customer service routine is all too common these days and if you cant understand the person trying to help you then you are automatically a racist.... SMH entered the code and prompted to pay with a card, after entering the code there isnt even any evidence that a code was entered.

Please try again later.I bought some Bluetooth earpods that were supposed to come with 3 months of YouTube premium and a serius 4-month trial, when I finally got the directions to redeem the YouTube code, I was pretty sure it wasn't going to work and sure enough it didn't. Mind you these are the instructions I got after my purchase, the YouTube code was expired before I even bought the item.. I will never shop at Best buy again not even worth it. Lazy liars

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I hate to break it to you, but essentially you won't be able to do much at all. You are wasting your time and money. You will get nothing for free, not even a free trial. They will start charging to make sure that your account works, and then if you are lucky will refund. Essentially they charge you for everything and then refund you after the fact IF you are lucky and jumped through every hoop correctly. Miss one little thing and you will be charged and not be able to be refunded. And that is if you can even get a movie to play. You would be better off just using the free content and going to ANY other streaming platform Except AMC Plus. They are worse than Youtube.
