A:AnswerWe've been keeping ours in the garage since we got it, would recommend plugging to a GFCI receptacle (i was told by home inspector all garage outlets should be GFCI) and i'm also using a surge protector- it's a good way to protect yourself if the garage gets wet and also your freezer and the food in it.
