Hello Mike. The air conditioner control will maintain the set temperature within 2 degrees Fahrenheit, between 60F and 90F degrees. The weight of the air conditioner is 64lbs. The side louvers fit into a track that we would not recommend bending, but can be adjusted for shortening the width. The installation does require a minimum of 24" in width. Hope this helps. ~ Anna
