• Yes, it tells time in LARGE numbers that really show up. At night I can use a back-light to read the dial if needed. It also has an alarm. My alarm vibrates every hour and I have not had the time to find out how to change it. I like that it also tells me when the battery is getting low. That gives me time to recharge it when I can do without it for a while. I had another brand that was recalled. It worked great though. But It didn't tell me it was getting low until it was so low that it needed the charge right away.
