Hi there! Thanks for asking. We appreciate your loyalty to GE Appliances and we'd be happy to help with your question. We highly suggest looking at the installation instructions for this microwave.. As long as the opening has the necessary dimensions, it should make a great replacement. Both models are very similar in size and we think this unit (JVM3160DFWW) is an excellent choice.
