“I have a two and a half year old GE JVM 3160 EFES over the range microwave. This morning it wouldn't come on. Circuit breaker was thrown. I reset the breaker and the unit would come on for a few seconds and go out again....breaker thrown again. What's up?”

This must be frustrating. If the microwave trips the house fuse or breaker, be certain the microwave is on its own dedicated circuit. If the breaker continues to trip off, unplug the microwave and contact service. A qualified GE service technician is required for an accurate diagnosis.
