“The vent automatically comes on anytime I cook something. Is this typical or is there a way for me to turn the vent off while it cooks? It's set to recirculating.”

• Hi Gibby! Thanks for your question. We found that this is normal. This unit has an automatic fan feature, which protects the microwave from too much heat rising from the cooktop below it. It automatically turns on if it senses too much heat. We hope this helps! Emily
