• This unit hums a bit and is not on the quiter side. When start it's a little loud hearing the compressor start going and you can hear it run like a big refrigerator.

• Noise is too loud for us. Inside and outside of home. Unit we replace was more quite. We purchase two and returned one only because we installed it.
