“Do I have to use screws to install this AC in the window? I'm concerned about putting holes in the vinyl and/or wood frame of my window. Also, won't the screws loosen after continuous installing/removing the AC from the window?”

Not necessarily there is a bracket rhats on top ofbthe ac that holds the unity in place securely when you pull the window down on it
