“We have week old dryer and it is shutting off about 3 minutes into the cycle. It can be restarted but will shut off again after a few minutes. The vent tubing was just cleaned. Any pointers on what the problem is and how to fix the dryer?”

Hi - We are sorry to hear your new dryer shuts off after 3 minutes. This is certainly not what we would expect to occur. Check the power supply. Electric dryers require a separate 220-volt outlet, 30 amp dual breaker or two 30 amp fuses.
