Nest cameras can send notifications to multiple devices, including an iPhone — as long as it has the Nest app installed. Nest outdoor cameras are designed for outdoor use, and may not perform as well when placed indoor. For instance, Nest Cam Outdoor doesn't have a stand which may make it hard to place it indoor. You may need to get a mounting plate to hold your camera.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It sends messages when it sees motion even if it is a drive by car or cat. From what I have seen the only difference in the indoor vs outdoor is the weatherproofing. I think it could work indoors but would be more expensive.
