• There is an app on the play store called Content Transfer. Install it on your old phone and follow the instructions. It should back up Everthing! My app icons even ended up in their correct positions on my new phone!

• No, you can transfer all of your text messages and other information to new phone by downloading available "phone clone" APPs from playmarket, you have to install same APP on both phones, and set which is old and which is new one. APP will synchronize all the data.
