“Just bought second box of wonderful Dark Magic K-pods............but notice that background color on these are light-bright green, versus the former very dark background on the ones I first bought. Should I expect a change in the contents also? :(”

While the colors on the box of Dark Magic have changed the coffee is the same as what you have purchased previously. Sometimes there are slight variations from batch to batch.
