A:Answer I’ve had this problem too. I have had two of the first model indoor cameras and sometimes it’s color sometimes it’s not. I have other grievances and am just overall not happy that it can’t be set up as a standard motion recording device. Having to be on WiFi (not a data issue) is pretty “high speed” for this and to have the SIM card only be 32 GB maximum is because they want you to pay monthly for their cloud storage. They have since flooded the market with new products and did zero for platform connectivity, and overlooked the notion that 32GB of data storage is not even the standard memory capability of the most recent portable electronics. Considering the Micro SD is hardware the company could have easily updated software to be able to expand the SD cards memory ability. Without much challenge. They could have also utilized time with IFTT to increase products usable functionality across platforms that are able to used for more than verbally turning the alarm on and off. Also the email notification of movement is very delayed and even though sender is trusted still routed to the spam folder undesirably. So with Black and white images, unable to operate with out WiFi and using just the SD card which is neglible space and lack of useful integration capabilities from the company and not by a third party I am going to be returning these two cameras and for the cost plus maybe $20 more get a more useful, integratable system with more than a 30 ft pixelated image which I should have done in the first place.
