Yes, all Xbox Series X discs are backwards compatible with Xbox One consoles. But PlayStation 5 discs are NOT backwards compatible with PlayStation 4 consoles. You just need to make sure you are using a console that has a disc drive. For example, the Xbox One S All-Digital Edition or the Xbox Series S do not have disc drives, so they cannot play any discs.
