Do you have your SSN, bank account, or passwords saved to a file? As a Network and Cybersecurity Engineer, my advice is DON'T DO THAT! Memorize your passwords instead of letting your Internet browser save them for you. You can avoid this concern by hiring a local technician to help you at your home where you look over their shoulder the whole time.

My answer is simple, the Google device is so worthless that it can not access you computer and is unable to access such information. As for taking your computer in and worrying about I'D theft, first what is that information doing on your computer. You must have accessed some untrustworthy site to have viruses, hence you are already compromised. Could a renagade employee take you private information from your computer, the answer is yes. But it sounds as though you are already compromised from the web. You are much more likely to have been compromised by you reckless downloads.
