• This was a main factor in me picking this humidifier, and it takes around 50 minutes to clean for for 40 of those minutes you're just waiting while the cleaning is happening, It's very simple, and this humidifier comes with videos from the company on how to clean it, which I really liked.

• It is easy to clean. I followed instructions for cleaning with white vinegar and also clean with a very small amount of bleach. Not to confuse with using the two ingredients at same time.

• Yes, I find it easy to clean. I clean mine once a week - the directions on the enclosed pamphlet are easy to follow. You fill the top part with a vinegar and water solution. Then you place the top on the bottom of the unit and soak the unit for about 20 minutes then rinse it several times. After that you repeat the process with a solution of water and a little bleach and let it soak for 20 minutes and then discard that solution and rinse well with plain water.
