• A:Answer Rose, thank you for your question about HP laptops and disk drives. HP laptops are equipped with some type of internal storage, which is mostly solid state drives. This model is equipped with an eMMC drive, which is another method of internal storage. None of HP's laptops are equipped with CD/DVD drives, yet you can purchase an external drive and plug it into a USB port on the laptop.

• A:Answer Thank you for your question. This computer will not be able to run the Proctor Guardian Browser as it is in S Mode and even when you take out out of S Mode, there will not be enough memory to run the browser along with doing the work for your studies. The best computer for this use would be one that has at least 8GB of memory, since they either run Windows 11 Home or can be taken out of S Mode and still run Windows, Guardian, and Office all at the same time.
