“If I were to get a wireless monitor so that I can have 2 externals with dual display (as opposed to mirror), would that work with this laptop? An HDMI splitter will only allow for mirroring and the other USB ports are SS only.”

• Hit the Windows key and the letter "p" at the same time to change the way the second monitor works.

• Thank you for the question. You can connect a wireless monitor to the 17-cp3005dx. However, you can also attach a hub with an HDMI port via USB Type-A or USB Type-C. You will have a wider selection of monitors from which to choose and it will probably be a more affordable option.
