• One piece at a time, since it does not have a document feeder. However, it is good if you don't have to scan a million papers.

• This model only has a flatbed, and so it can only scan one piece of paper at a time. If you're wanting a comparable model with a document feeder for multi-page scanning, we recommend the OfficeJet 5255!
