QuestionMy printer lights up like a Christmas tree when I plug in. It will not connect to my wifi or any of my computers. I even tried usb connection. I tried having geek squad set it up, no luck there either (yet) What am I missing?

QuestionIf I don't have a wireless network, Can I connect the printer to my laptop to print via a USB or printer cable?

- Answer Yes, you can, but I found it easier to set up via wireless and the app first, then I shut down the wireless and use USB most of the time. The buttons on the front of the printer light up but I didn't want to take the time to figure out how to use them to set the printer up wirelessly. By connecting for a short time to our internet wirelessly, I was able to set up the printer in about 3 minutes. It's just a personal preference as I feel the internet is dragged down by so many items using wireless when this printer sits on my desk and I am the only one who uses it so it makes more sense to just plug it into my laptop at the same time I am plugging in my external large display screen.

- Answer Yes, you can. The printer has a feature called ePrint, and if that's turned on, the printer will have it's own email address. Then you just email the items to the printer and it will print immediately if the printer is turned on. If it isn't, the documents will be held for 24 hours in a print queue. If the printer is turned on at any point in that 24 hour period, the document will print.
