“HP answered RAM upgrade question & said there were 2 slots with 4gb each that could be upgraded to 8 each/16gb total. Went to buy RAM on the Crucial site and put in my model 15m-ed1013dx and it states RAM is soldered. Anyone know answer for sure?!?”

Crucial does not have accurate information on the HP Envy x360 15m-ed1013dx. I have had my own laptop open, and the RAM is not soldered. I'm currently fighting to upgrade to a 1tb samsung SSD and Corsair Vengeance 16 gb ram, it hasn't been going well...
