- Answer This printer doesn't offer a connection for hard wired Ethernet networking. It has a phone jack on the back for faxing. If you don't use wifi. You would need to get a regular USB (A-B) printer cord it is not included in the box.

- Answer The biggest difference is the HP OfficeJet 3830 has an auto document feeder for copying and scanning of up to 35 pages at once, the HP Envy 5055 has a flatbed scanner that only allows for copying or scanning of one page at a time. The HP OfficeJet 3830 all so has support for faxing.

- Answer The printer can be wireless or can be attached to a pc using a standard USB printer cable. The paper tray can hold up to 5 envelopes at a time. You can print for example 100 envelopes by replacing the 5 envelopes in the tray after the previous 5 are printed, and just press ok or continue.
