• I'm pretty sure all printers come with less than full size ink in the cartridges. I've had mine for about 5 weeks now and I'm still on the original cartridges. I print every day about 5-10 pages. Hope this helps.

• It comes with the start-up cartridges. The full-size cartridges, however, are very reasonably priced compared to some of the other all-in-one printers I have had in the past.
