• I haven't tried frozen food, but I can tell you that the coldest setting for the fridge portion keeps my water bottles on the verge of being frozen. The freezer part froze an entire water bottle pretty nicely. I would trust this fridge to keep a frozen lunch frozen. It's a pretty small freezer area though. I would say on the coldest setting, you could probably put a frozen meal in there and it wouldn't unthaw to the point of the food spoiling. It would unthaw a little bit, but still be cold enough

• The chiller compartment is 30 degrees F to 48 degrees at room temperature. Ice cream or popsicles must be kept at -5 degrees to 0 F degrees therefore this chiller compartment is not suitable to store these types of items.

• I don't know the exact temperature, but we do keep ice in ours and it freezes and stays frozen if the unit is on the the highest 3 settings. The more you fill a freezer, the colder it stays.
