“How can I program my new TV to automaticaly default its Source to my cable box that is my HDMI #1 position rather than having to select HDMI #1 using the Insignia remote control every time I turn the TV on.”

I have tried this and it still won’t start at the cable box. Any other suggestions

Say into your ingsignia remote "set input directly to HDMI1". I finally figured that out after 5 days.
