“Does this hook up to a Directv box and access regular and cable channels without doing anything other than turning on the tv? Meaning, I don't have to access through Amazon Fire or other apps?”

• You can hook up a DirecTV box into one of the HDMI inputs on the TV. Try the Power On feature, when enabled, your TV turns on displaying the last used input: go Home > Settings > Display & Sounds > Power On and select Last Input.

• I have uverse cable when I turn on the TV it goes directly to my cable system I had to program it though for this happen
