Tried the regular remote from our other insignia tv and it worked. Purchased another remote just like it - Insignia NS-RC4NA-18. It works perfectly, especially if you want to use the TV as a "dumb tv". Took away all the stress and scrolling just to watch antennae channels. Still need the included remote to work the "smart" functions, but that is ok.
