• While the TV has a built-in digital tuner you will most likely need an antenna to pick up the broadcast signals. The type of antenna will really depend on how far you are away from the broadcast towers.

• I’ve never heard that before but the answer is no. You need either a digital antenna, streaming device or a cable box in order to receive a signal
